The core plate is the centre of the frame, and it reduces the need for locking nuts on carbon, having the bottom plate screwed directly into the core plate for a super tight and stiff fit!
Furthermore, the mounting holes fit 30.5x30.5 and 20x20 stacks, and with the use of the rubber grommets, the stack is completely soft-mounted and reduces noise generated from the motors.
